In most study material, colour lives on a handful of diagram pages — the other 90% is plain text. Split the file first, print each part at its own rate, and get the same set back in the same order.

Six things worth knowing before you send a large document for printing. Each one is a decision you make in about a minute, and together they usually decide whether a 1,000 page set costs ₹1,390 or ₹2,000.
Anatomy plates, circuit diagrams, geological maps, stained slides, pie charts — here the colour is the information, and a greyscale version quietly deletes it. Medical, engineering and science material is where colour pays for itself. Ordinary body text does not become more readable in colour.
A 300 page PDF with 12 diagram pages gets printed entirely in colour because that was the simplest instruction to give. Every plain text page is then billed at the colour rate. On a set of semester notes this single habit can add several hundred rupees that bought you nothing.
Colour pages go to the colour machine, the rest go to the black-and-white machine at bulk rates, and both stacks are collated back into the original sequence before binding. You get one book, in the right order — the split exists only inside the print room. On a 1,000 page set with 300 colour pages this takes about 30% off the bill — ₹1,390 instead of ₹2,000 — and the text pages run on economical 70 GSM while the diagrams get heavier stock.
Our free browser tool reads every page, sends the ones carrying colour to one file and the pure black-and-white pages to another, and keeps the original page numbers so nothing gets lost. Nothing to install, and your file never leaves your own device.
Upload the PDF, download two files, send both to us with your binding choice. That is the whole workflow.
A print run has fixed costs — setup, calibration, a test sheet, machine warm-up — that are the same for 50 pages or 5,000. Spread across a large order, the per-page share collapses, which is why bulk colour printouts cost a fraction of a walk-in shop rate. Combining several subjects into one order gets you into the higher slab.
A quick rule for deciding before you upload.
Anything where two elements are told apart only by their colour, plus photographs and scanned plates.
Chapters, question banks, theory, transcripts, tables with clear labels and line-art figures.
Double-sided halves the paper, thins the book and makes it easier to carry and bind.
One large order reaches a better slab than four small ones and travels as a single courier consignment.
Enter the page count and roughly how many pages carry colour. The card breaks the job into its two runs — the colour batch on its paper and rate, the text pages on 70 GSM — and picks the right 100 GSM Premium slab automatically. This is an indicative figure; the calculator gives a full quote with binding and courier.
This sets the colour pages. Both runs are priced on their own page count, so each lands in its own quantity band. The colour page count decides the colour rate: 80 GSM needs 500 colour pages and a plain white background; below that the colour batch goes on 100 GSM Premium, which has no minimum and runs from ₹8.00 per page for 1–10 down to ₹2.50 per side above 500.
That is 30.5% off the all-colour price. Printing charge only; binding and courier are extra.
Per-side printing rates, binding priced per book and courier by weight. Final pricing depends on quantity, paper and file content — the calculators confirm it before you order.
| Black & white — 70 GSM | Front & back per side | Single side per sheet |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 pages or more ★ Best value | ₹0.50 | ₹0.85 |
| 500 – 999 pages | ₹0.70 | ₹0.98 |
| 100 – 499 pages | ₹0.80 | ₹0.98 |
| 21 – 99 pages | ₹1.25 | ₹1.50 |
| 20 pages or less | ₹2.00 | ₹2.00 |
The band is set by how many black & white pages are in the job. On a mixed file that is the count after the colour pages are taken out. Heavier stock is available for black & white too — ₹0.80 per side on 80 GSM and ₹1.35 per side on 100 GSM, at 1,000 pages and above.
| Colour — 80 GSM, front & back | Per side |
|---|---|
| Text only | ₹1.50 |
| Text with a little graphics | ₹1.75 |
| Up to 20% colour coverage | ₹2.00 |
The minimum counts colour pages, not total pages. 80 GSM colour needs 500 colour pages in the job, on white background files. If your document is 1,000 pages but only 300 carry colour, that colour batch is 300 — under the minimum — so it prints on 100 GSM Premium at the slab rate below instead. ₹1.50 per side is our cheapest colour rate.
| Colour — 80 GSM, single side | Per sheet |
|---|---|
| Text only | ₹2.50 |
| Up to 20% colour coverage | ₹3.00 |
| Colour — 100 GSM Premium (by colour page count) | Rate | Works out well for |
|---|---|---|
| 1 – 10 colour pages | ₹8.00 per page | A few diagrams, one chart, a cover |
| 11 – 50 colour pages | ₹6.00 per page | A single chapter's plates |
| 51 – 200 colour pages | ₹4.50 per page | An atlas section or project report |
| 201 – 499 colour pages | ₹3.00 per page | A full colour subject set |
| 500+ colour pages, front & back | ₹2.50 per side | Free spiral per 500 + free courier |
The 500 page minimum on 80 GSM counts colour pages only. Once you separate a file, the colour batch is usually well under 500 — ten diagrams, forty plates, three hundred figures — and that batch prices on 100 GSM Premium, by quantity, with no minimum to reach. Heavier paper and sharper output, which suits diagram pages anyway.
Above 500 colour pages on 100 GSM Premium: one spiral binding free for every 500 pages, and standard courier free anywhere in India.
| Binding | 1–10 books | 11–49 books | 50+ books |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spiral binding | ₹30 – ₹50 per book, by thickness | ||
| Perfect (glue) binding | ₹150 | ₹100 | ₹50 |
| Hard case binding | ₹300 | ₹275 | ₹250 |
Perfect-binding covers are 300 GSM with gloss or matte lamination. Hard binding uses rigid board. Saddle stitch and Wire-O are not offered.

It depends entirely on how many pages carry colour. Take a 1,000 page set with 300 colour pages. Sent as one colour job, all 1,000 pages count as colour, so 80 GSM applies at ₹2.00 per side — ₹2,000. Separated, the colour batch is only 300 pages, under the 500 page minimum for 80 GSM, so it prints on 100 GSM Premium at the ₹3.00 slab: ₹900. The other 700 pages run on 70 GSM front-back; 700 pages sits in the 500–999 band at ₹0.70 per side, so ₹490. That is ₹1,390 in total, and ₹610 stays in your pocket, about 30% less — with the diagrams on heavier paper. With fewer colour pages the saving grows sharply: 8 colour pages in that same set costs ₹758 against ₹2,000, a 62% saving.
No. The separator keeps the original page numbers, and the two stacks are collated back into sequence before binding. You receive one set in the same order as your PDF.
Black-and-white bulk pricing starts at 1000 pages. Smaller orders are welcome at standard rates — run them through the calculator for the exact figure.
For black & white: 70 GSM for everyday notes and question banks, and it handles front-and-back printing well. 80 GSM if you want a textbook feel. 100 GSM for reports and copies meant to be submitted or presented. Colour printing is available on 80 GSM and 100 GSM Premium.
On 70 GSM, by quantity. Front-and-back it is ₹0.50 per side at 1,000 pages or more, ₹0.70 for 500–999, ₹0.80 for 100–499, ₹1.25 for 21–99 and ₹2.00 for 20 or fewer. Single side is ₹0.85 per sheet at 1,000 or more, ₹0.98 below 1,000, ₹1.50 below 100 and ₹2.00 for 20 or fewer. The band is set by the number of black & white pages, counted after the colour pages are separated out.
Colour pages only. A 1,000 page file with 300 colour pages has a colour batch of 300, which is under the minimum, so those 300 pages price on 100 GSM Premium rather than 80 GSM. You reach the 80 GSM rates when the colour batch itself hits 500 pages. The black & white pages are counted and priced separately either way.
On 80 GSM, yes — 500 pages. Front-and-back that is ₹1.50 per side for text only, ₹1.75 for text with a little graphics and ₹2.00 for up to 20% colour coverage. Single sided on 80 GSM is ₹2.50 per sheet text only, ₹3.00 up to 20% coverage. On 100 GSM Premium there is no minimum at all, so a ten page batch of diagrams is no problem.
It is priced by quantity, with no minimum: ₹8.00 per page for 1–10, ₹6.00 for 11–50, ₹4.50 for 51–200, ₹3.00 for 201–499, and ₹2.50 per side front-and-back above 500. Cross 500 pages and you also get one spiral binding free per 500 pages plus free standard courier anywhere in India.
Yes, across India. Mumbai and Thane are ₹50 per kg. Anywhere else in India is ₹135 for the first kg and ₹60 for each additional kg.

Regularly. Anatomy plates, histology slides, circuit diagrams and geological maps go on 80 GSM or 100 GSM Premium where the colour carries the meaning, and the theory chapters print in black & white. That mix is exactly what the separator is built for.
Monday to Saturday, 3 PM to 10 PM. Closed on Sunday. Files sent on Sunday are taken up first thing on Monday.
